About Our School
The Pre-K Campus has approximately 300 students.
Students receive between 4-5 hours of planned, purposeful, and playful learning opportunities that are correlated with the Texas Pre-K Guidelines.
Lunch and recess times are between 10:45-1:00.
Students participate in daily physical education and development classes.
Students attend computer classes 1 day per week. Technological tools including the HATCH Learning System, iPads, iPods, literacy centers, and an outdoor learning center are integrated into the instructional program.
Literacy and listening skills are enhanced through weekly library and music settings.
Building Character with Positive Beginnings-The counselor provides guidance that encourages children to regulate their behavior in learning and problem solving situations.
Leopard Time-1:30-2:15 One-on-One Time---Teacher and student enjoy time reading, drawing and reflecting on learning experiences. Students’ pictures are taken and this is a very special time for each student.
