Brenda Stewart, Board Member 

Brenda Howard Stewart, an L-E Graduate is the newest addition to our Board of Trustees joining in May, 2009.  Ms. Stewart worked at Liberty-Eylau as a Teacher/Counselor for sixteen years.  She is currently employed at Texarkana Arkansas ISD as High School Counselor. 

Joe Combs, a 1982 Liberty-Eylau Graduate, has served on the Board of Trustees since 2003.  Mr. Combs said, "I want to make a positive difference in the future of Liberty-Eylau ISD".  Both Joe & Shedera have been active members of the Athletic Booster Club, and the family attends the Eylau Methodist Church.  Mr. Combs is employed with Coleman Chevrolet-Dodge.

 Dan Haskins, Board Member

Dan Haskins has served on the Board of Trustees since 1989 . He has served as President, Vice President, and Secretary. Mr. Haskins earned his Masters in Education Administration at Texas A & M Commerce. He is a retired educator after 36 years as a teacher, coach, high school principal and central office administrator.  Mr. Haskins also served as President on the Northeast Texas School Board Association.

 Robert Skipper Bryan, Board Secretary

Skipper Bryan has been a Board Member since 2002.  Mr. Bryan is a sales manager for TPS Auto Parts.  He is a 1977 Liberty-Eylau graduate and has been a member of the L-E community for over 40 years.

 Christina Walker, Board President

Christina Walker has served the School Board since 1993.  Mrs. Walker, her spouse Edwin and their children are all L-E Alumni. Currently, she has four grandchildren who attend here. She has served as Board President, Vice President and Secretary. Mrs. Walker is President of E. Walker Construction Company.

Chad Turner, Board Member

Chad Turner was elected to our Board of Trustees May, 2010.  He is a Texas State Trooper and has also served two tours in Iraq and Kuwait.  Chad and his wife, Sharon have two children who attend Liberty-Eylau.  Chad is excited about being part of a district that strives for student success!
